This photo was taken about 50 yards to the left and behind Golgotha (when facing Golgotha), the skull-face cliff just outside Jerusalem where Jesus was crucified. Through the vegetation, near the center of this photo is the entrance to the garden tomb referenced below.

"Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. So there they laid Jesus, because of the Jews’ Preparation Day, for the tomb was nearby." (John 19:41-42).
